TROUBLE IN RUNNING

SUNNY DA BEST (J118) shifted in at the start and was bumped. After the race, rider reported that his intention was to hold a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said after his mount commenced well, it was able to assume the lead without being pressured to do so - Race 599.

FOOLISH HEART (J054) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 618.

D STAR (G374) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 628.

CELTIC TIMES (G230) bumped at the start. Leaving the 1400M shifted in before being corrected by its rider and then shifted out when awkwardly placed - Race 604.

SUPER LEGENDS (H364) near the 200M the whip of the rider was accidentally knocked from his grasp by the whip of another rider - Race 642.

WINNING TURN (J163) lay out on the Home Turn and made contact with a runner - Race 599.

LUCKY TOUCH (J203) near the 900M was bumped and as a result became unbalanced. After the race, rider reported that due to the pace of the event being run outside of standard time in the early stages, his mount found it difficult to make up any appreciable ground in the Home Straight, however, he was not too disappointed with its performance in the circumstances. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 584.

SUPER UNICORN (H481) shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. In the middle stages raced keenly and after the 1000M got its head up when being steadied away from a runner. Approaching the 300M was steadied and shifted out to obtain clear running - Race 599.

VANTASTIC CHOICE (G401) making the Home Turn was held up. Finished 6th and rider was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race - Race 650.

GOLDEN DARCI (H470) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 600M commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from a runner. Making the Home Turn raced tight to the inside of that runner. Approaching the 200M was steadied when disappointed for clear running, resulted in the horse blundering and then being held up for a short distance thereafter. Approaching the winning post rider dropped his whip - Race 619.

MISSION VOICE (H444) near the 300M had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 100M became held up for clear running and was shifted out to continue into clear running - Race 641.

STRATHPEFFER (H095) after the race, ride reported that his intention was to hold a more forward position, but despite riding his mount along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to do so - Race 661.

INVINCIBLE MISSILE (C037) jumped only fairly - Race 654.
