Recap by phillip woo

Super Baby got his own way in front and kept finding after straightening nearly two lengths clear to score an upset win. He is not easy to get right. Favourite Turin Warrior was given every chance in the box seat but could not reel in the victor. He is honest but does not have the heart to record a victory. Affirm kept on gamely to hold third after a pace-stalking run from gate seven. It was his first time trying the Valley's 1,650m and his best effort from six starts. Snowalot kept grinding away to finish fourth after travelling one out, one back. He can bob up at any moment in this grade. Mr Aladdin ran on well for fifth after a patient ride third last from gate 10. He has shown flashes of ability in his five starts across both tracks and a win is not far away. Palace Pal came from last and widest out to finish the next best without threatening the top five. He will be a force with which to be reckoned in Class Five soon. Reliable Profit made some ground without troubling the leaders after biding his time one from the rear. Beauty Mission will sleep well after getting posted wide without cover in midfield.
