Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (816) - THE PHILIP CHEN TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Meters
I CAN, which was standing awkwardly in the barriers, was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, KOKUSHI MUSOU shifted in and bumped HELIOS EXPRESS.
From the outside barrier, GALLANT CROWN was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the Home Turn, READY TO WIN became held up behind I CAN and did not obtain clear running until near the 350 Metres.
Over the final 200 Metres, BEAUTY GLORY lay out under pressure.
EURO ROCKS raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection of EURO ROCKS, GALLANT CROWN and I CAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HELIOS EXPRESS and ACE ONE were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Helios Express was much too good after travelling one off the fence in midfield and hitting the front 150m out to make it two wins on the trot from three local starts. Ace One stayed on well for second after chasing the leading pair one off the rail but was no match for the winner. Plunged late, Beauty Glory stayed on for a placing without threatening the top two after sharing the lead with Tomodachi Kokoroe to his outside. Tomodachi Kokoroe faded late after prompting the pace from a tricky gate and poking his head in front 200m out. He proved a last-start placing was not a fluke. Ready To Win got going late near the inside to finish next best. He is not genuine. Compassion Spirit made a mild bid from behind midfield. He is a Class Four horse. Euro Rocks was a non-factor after a wide-without-cover trip in midfield.
