Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (720) - JERVOIS HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
VIVA HUNTER and PARTY WARRIOR, both of which began only fairly, became unbalanced and bumped heavily as a result of VIVA HUNTER being taken out by HAPPILY FRIENDS.
COLOSSALE began awkwardly.
HAPPY TIME began only fairly and then shortly after the start was awkwardly placed inside the heels of VERY SWEET ORANGE which shifted in.
After this, HAPPY TIME was steadied to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, DEMONS ROCK was also steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
Near the 950 Metres, AMAZING ROCKY got its head on the side and lay out when being ridden along, resulting in GOODMANSHIP being taken out onto HAPPILY FRIENDS and causing GOODMANSHIP to be inconvenienced and HAPPILY FRIENDS to become unbalanced.
After the 900 Metres, HAPPILY FRIENDS shifted in and bumped GOODMANSHIP.
Approaching the 800 Metres, COLOSSALE got its head on the side, lay in and was awkwardly placed behind HAPPILY FRIENDS.
Then making the turn near the 550 Metres, COLOSSALE lay out.
After the race, K Teetan said that COLOSSALE raced greenly throughout.
Near the 450 Metres, HAPPILY FRIENDS was shifted out away from the heels of BULLISH BROTHER.
COLOSSALE, which was following HAPPILY FRIENDS, was inconvenienced in consequence.
Passing the 300 Metres, VIVA HUNTER got its head on the side and lay in.
Passing the 100 Metres, HAPPY TIME was momentarily awkwardly placed behind HAPPY GOOD GUYS which shifted out.
Close to the finishing line, HAPPY GOOD GUYS shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of PARTY WARRIOR.
For the majority of the race, HAPPY GOOD GUYS travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, it was reported that SUPER COMMANDER had lost its left front plate and had sustained a small cut to the left front coronet.
A veterinary inspection of VERY SWEET ORANGE and HAPPILY FRIENDS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
AMAZING ROCKY and PARTY WARRIOR were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Amazing Rocky led and never looked back for a comfortable maiden win at his seventh start. He lived up to a near win last start trying the Valley 1,000m for the first time. Party Warrior ran on well to grab second in deep stretch at huge odds settling behind midfield on the fence after a tardy break. It was a solid debut performance and the future does look promising. Happy Good Guys lost second late after working into the quinella spot 100m out following a wide without cover run better than midfield from an outside draw. He'll always a chance at this level. Well-backed Happy Time finished well to fill the frame after biding his time fourth last from a tricky gate. He's crying out for the 1,200m after hitting the line well for fourths in back-to-back runs over this trip. Bullish Brother stayed on better to pick up a minor cheque travelling just off the fence in midfield. It was a better effort after firing blanks in seven runs following a win in October. Super Commander was yielding ground 150m out after going forward from a wide gate to chase the leader. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Happily Friends came up one-paced when asked for an effort following a one-off run worse than midfield.
