Magda Butrym established her eponymous label in 2014 after cutting her teeth at several different womenswear labels. The Polish designer’s work combines modern fashion with traditional artisanship from all over her native country. Known for her feminine vibe and rose-shaped embellishments, signatures seen in many of her dresses and accessories, Butrym has dressed celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Hailey Bieber.

Warsaw is my city, the heart of my brand. My favourite place is Królikarnia Sculpture Park with its beautiful artworks hidden among the trees. The most special restaurant is Nolita – I think it has the best food in Warsaw and I always celebrate my special moments there.

I always bring my friends some Polish pierogi and vodka.

My most treasured gift

Vintage Rolex with turquoise Stella dial

My favourite piece is my 1960s Rolex with a turquoise Stella dial. I got it from my fiancé for Christmas – it was my dream present.

I have two favourite hotels in the world. The Connaught Hotel in London – I like to eat breakfast at its restaurant with big windows overlooking Mount Street. The second is the Ritz Paris, the most magical place, with amazing history and the best service. For holidays, every year I go to One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives with my family. It is the place where I switch off my phone and rest the most.
