After winning her best actress Oscar at the 2023 Academy Awards back in March for genre-bending hit Everything, Everywhere All at Once, Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh was feted at one glamorous soirée to the next.

At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which took place in May, she bossed the red carpet in a Balenciaga haute couture ensemble and also attended the Kering Women in Motion programme that promotes the role of women in the arts.

For this more casual occasion, the 61-year-old added an array of cool designer accessories – think chunky trainers, tinted sunglasses and a sparkly sling bag – to accompany an oversized outfit in elegant monochrome.
