Before her Rodeo Realty estate-agent career start in Los Angeles, California, Lazkani, 31, obtained an economics degree at the University of Buckingham and a master's degree in oil and gas economics at the University of Dundee, Scotland, both in the United Kingdom.
Her parents’ strong work ethic influenced her decision to pursue a career in property, per her bio on The Oppenheim Group’s website. The daughter of Nigerian immigrants, she was aware of her parents’ struggles to provide for her and her siblings growing up, per British media.
Despite their professional backgrounds – her father Segun Adefioye is an architect and property developer according to her bio, while her mother Elizabeth Adefioye is an experienced human resources professional, per her LinkedIn – Chelsea spoke to British media about how they struggled financially while raising their family in London.

Chelsea met her now ex-husband, Jeff Lazkani, 42, a managing partner at advertising agency Icon Media Group, in 2015, per People. They connected through Tinder when she was visiting California from the UK for a short break, adds US media. Despite an 11-year age difference, they eventually got married in August 2017.
Chelsea and Jeff share two children: Maddox Ali Levon, 5, and Melia Man, 3, per E! Online.
