Hailey and Justin Bieber have been in the headlines lately amid rumours of trouble in paradise for the married couple.

According to InTouch Weekly, Hailey has reached a “breaking point” and they’ve supposedly been fighting over “kids, old loves and more”. While it’s hard to know exactly what’s going on in a celebrity couple’s relationship unless they discuss things openly, it hasn’t stopped netizens and the media from speculating about it.

Matters weren’t helped when Hailey’s father Stephen Baldwin re-shared an Instagram post asking people to “pray for” the couple to ease their struggles.

Lately though, attention has turned onto Hailey’s sister Alaia, who was arrested for simple assault, simple battery and criminal trespassing, per US media. The incident involved Alaia “throwing a used tampon at a bartender” states the police report.

Alaia, 31, is four years older than Hailey, and they share the same parents, Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin. Alaia and Hailey’s father Stephen is a well known Hollywood actor – whose brother Alec Baldwin is even more famous, while their mother Kennya is much more low-key and works as a graphic designer.

According to Hailey’s interview with Fashion Magazine in 2017, the women had a “normal” upbringing, despite being born into a starry family. “That was always a reality,” she said, referring to her red carpet appearances as a little girl. “But because of the way my parents raised my sister and me, that was always separate – that was Dad’s work life. When we were home, we were just home, hanging out.”

While Hailey Bieber is well known as a model and influencer, it turns out that Alaia is also in the industry. She is signed with Major Model, and has worked with Philipp Plein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, according to People.

Alaia married her producer husband Andrew Aronow in 2017, after they were introduced by veteran model Christie Brinkley, per an Instagram caption she wrote in 2017.

The couple share a daughter together, Iris Elle Aronow, who they welcomed in 2020. Hailey shared her excitement at the time, writing on her Instagram Story, “Been hard to keep this to myself, my beautiful niece is here and she is perfect. Auntie Hails loves you sooooo much.”
