LADY BILLIE (H365) bumped shortly after the start - Race 562.
JOYFUL FRIENDSHIP (H295) when questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight and the reason why his mount became held up behind a runner near the 150M, rider stated that his initial intention was to take a run to the inside of that runner when that runner shifted out near the 250M. He said when that runner shifted back in approaching the 200M and the run closed, he then contemplated shifting to the outside of that runner to obtain clear running. He added when another runner was positioned to his outside, he was unable to shift to the aforementioned runner's outside and as a result was steadied away from the heels of that runner for some distance thereafter. He further stated that over the final 100M when that runner shifted out, his mount obtained clear running and finished the race off well. The Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 656.
AROMATICA (H437) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 652.
SPLENDID STAR (G026) jumped only fairly. Near the 100M had some difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind a runner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 609.
RIGHT HONOURABLE (A164) jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 656.
SPEEDSTAR (G181) after travelling a short distance was buffeted for room - Race 649.
SMART BEAUTY (G477) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 300M was briefly held up when being shifted out to improve - Race 649.
SUPERB DADDY (D235) was slow to begin. Near the 1100M raced tight. After the race, rider reported that, in his opinion, his mount failed to run out a strong 2000M. Was examined by the vet who found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 637.
FOXHUNTER WAY (E296) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 609.
