The artistic director of Pucci, Camille Miceli, is one of the most fabulous women in fashion, known for her joie de vivre and impeccable personal style. The French designer has revived the Florence-based label, making it a favourite among jet-setters for its psychedelic prints and timeless resort wear, with fun collections and buzzy events in glamorous locations such as Capri and St Moritz.

Industry insiders also remember her for successful stints at houses such as Dior, where she created the now-signature Tribales earrings, and Louis Vuitton, where she worked as accessories creative director. Here, the 52-year-old shares her favourite finds from around the world.

In Florence, I am always going to Procacci, a little bar that is steps from the Palazzo Strozzi and near to the Pucci store as well. They have been around for ages, and despite being in a touristy part of the city, the ambience still feels authentic and local. In Paris, I adore the Musée Rodin.

I love to give gifts from Bloom, a home decor company in Paris that has a broad range of linens and tableware in colourful botanical prints that the owner develops with collaborators from different countries. In Florence, I love to give Florentine paper with the Giglio [the city’s lily-shaped emblem] from the shop Il Papiro to line drawers.
