Italian high-fashion house Bottega Veneta has launched its latest home collection designed by the luxury brand’s creative director Tomas Maier.

This collection, including furniture, lighting, tableware, and home decorations, marks the second collaboration between Maier and designer Osanna Visconti di Modrone.

Bottega Veneta, best known for its leather goods and men’s and women’s clothing, presented its home collection during April’s Salone del Mobile in Milan – the annual trade fair showcasing the latest international furniture and design creations.

The luxurious designs in its collection reflect the house’s timeless aesthetic and impeccable craftsmanship – with a playful twist.

Bottega Veneta teamed up with the Italian designer to unveil three cylindrical lighting pieces made with a lost-wax technique to create an “intrecciato” – or interwoven – texture on the bronze, one of which is a dramatic large-scale chandelier that made its appearance at the brand’s Madison Avenue store opening in New York in February.

In addition to the brand’s signature intrecciato motif, the collection also includes its first modular Rudi seating – featuring sofas with fringes, a camp bed and double camp stool – to highlight new styles, colours and materials.

The fashion house made its first foray into home interiors in 2006 and, since then, has become increasingly focused on its lighting and home furniture products.
