The family are rarely seen together in public. The 70-year-old comedian has been married to his wife Jessica Seinfeld since 1999, and they share three children together: sons Julian, 21, and Shepherd, 18, and daughter Sascha, 23, per People.

Unfrosted is Seinfeld’s directorial film feature debut, marking a milestone moment in his long-time career in the entertainment industry.

“You don’t want to think about that this is a really big, important job. Like, the pilot never wants to come on the PA system and go, ‘I’m going to try and get this plane in the air.’ You have to be confident,” he told People at the premiere.

Who are Jerry Seinfeld’s parents?

Seinfeld was born to his parents Kálmán and Betty Seinfeld in 1954. Per his interview on Time, he described his parents as loving, “but not interested in a good way”.

“They were loners,” he said. “They kind of raised us in a very hands-off way. I said, ‘I want to be a comedian.’ They said, ‘Oh, well, we look forward to hearing about it.’”

Seinfeld has an older sister, Carolyn Liebling, who has remained very low-key over the years.

Per The New York Times, Jerry met his then future wife Jessica, 52, at a Reebok gym in New York City in 1998, and they tied the knot one year later. According to the same source, Jessica had been married to theatrical producer Eric Nederlander for two months at the time, but she said their romance had been “irreparably broken”.

Jessica is known for her work with food, and has written five cookbooks and runs a blog, jessicaseinfeld.com, per Cosmopolitan.

Jerry has three kids. In a previous interview with Parents in 2020, Jessica said, “He wasn’t immediately pushing strollers and carrying babies. He jokes that it took him a good 10 years to warm up.”

“Jerry’s strength is now, with our three teenagers,” she added. “He’s patient with them. Where I am weaker, he is stronger, and we complement each other. I wouldn’t change anything.”

The Seinfelds welcomed their first child, Sascha, on November 7, 2000. According to People, celebs like George Stephanopoulos and Andy Cohen attended her bat mitzvah. 3. Shepherd, 18

The youngest Seinfeld sibling was born on August 22, 2005. Per People, he has been kept out of the limelight for many years, and made a rare public appearance when he met President Joe Biden in 2016 with his family.

One of the most-searched questions around Seinfeld still happens to be his controversial former relationship with a teenager, once upon a time. As reported by Far Out Magazine, the Seinfeld actor once dated a 17-year-old when he was 38 in the early 1990s. According to the source, her name was Shoshanna Lonstein and they dated for four years.

“I didn’t realise she was so young,” he said on The Howard Stern Show, around the time she turned 18, writes the source. “This is the only girl I ever went out with who was that young. I wasn’t dating her. We just went to a restaurant, and that was it.”
