Arguably the greatest football player on earth, Cristiano Ronaldo is constantly on top of his game both on and off the pitch.

He has amassed a fortune from football, sponsorships and other ventures, and was the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2023 according to Forbes, making US$136 million that year and worth some US$260 million overall.

With that much money, luxury homes are a given. Here is a look at Ronaldo’s incredible estate portfolio.

Portugal

Cascais

The crown jewel in his property collection is Ronaldo’s mega-mansion in the expensive coastal town of Cascais, about 20 minutes from Lisbon. According to Marca, it has an estimated value of US$22 million.

The house has four floors and four suites, a cinema room, a gym, tennis court and two garages to store his luxury car collection.

It also has glass walls to show off its stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, per Marca.

Lisbon

In Lisbon, Ronaldo owned a flat on the city’s prestigious main avenue, Avenida da Liberdade, nestled between luxury boutiques and high-end hotels.

According to Architectural Digest, Ronaldo bought the flat in 2015 for around US$2 million. It is near another property owned by Ronaldo in the neighbourhood, which the publication reported he bought for around US$7 million in 2018. It boasts a spa, gym, and two pools.

Gerês

Ronaldo can swap city views in Lisbon for scenes of the mountains and trees in the famous Peneda-Gerês National Park in northern Portugal. Lifestyle Asia reported in 2022 that the star owns a US$3 million mansion in the park, overlooking the River Cávado.

Ronaldo made headlines in 2021 when extensions to the home were declared illegal and were torn down.

Funchal, Madeira

Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 in Funchal, on the island of Madeira, and owns a seven-story property in the city. Architectural Digest previously reported that he renovated the former warehouse space to the tune of US$8 million in 2019.

It has four floors above ground, including a rooftop pool with a view of the ocean, a gym and an indoor pool. It is reported this is where the star’s mother and older brother spend most of their time.

Spain

La Finca, Madrid

Ronaldo spent nine years in Spain playing for Real Madrid. During that time, he had Spanish “master architect” Joaquín Torres Vérez design him a four-story, seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home in the city’s exclusive La Finca neighbourhood.

The mansion also reportedly boasts a state-of-the-art gym, a private football field and a massive garage.

In 2013, the home was listed as being worth around US$7.1 million, per Forbes.

According to The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, Ronaldo put the mansion up for rent when he moved to Saudi Arabia in 2022 for a cool US$16,000 a month.

Marbella

As one of the world’s top-performing athletes, Ronaldo hardly has an off-season. But when he does, he and the family have a beautiful holiday home in southern Spain’s Costa del Sol region to retreat to.

The villa, in the city of Marbella, was reported by GQ to be worth around US$1.6 million and features a built-in cinema, several bedrooms, a modern open-plan kitchen and an infinity pool.

The US

Trump Tower, NYC

Ronaldo is a global superstar with commitments and business affairs around the world. When he is in America, he can call a luxury condo in the heart of New York home.

US media reported that Ronaldo bought an apartment in Trump Tower in Manhattan in 2015 for US$18.5 million. Six years later he put it up for sale at just US$7.75 million, reported Vanity Fair.

Per Business Insider, the loft unit was even designed by famous interior designer Juan Pablo Molyneux and features three bedrooms, three and-a-half bathrooms, and a stunning view of the city that never sleeps.

Italy

Turin

Ronaldo moved to Italian football giants Juventus in 2018, where his family reportedly settled in a US$6.5 million mansion in Turin.

The footballer’s wife Georgina Rodríguez has admitted that the home was so big it took a while to navigate.

“Sometimes it would take me half an hour to get back from the living room because I didn’t know the way,” Rodríguez revealed on her Netflix docuseries I Am Georgina.

It reportedly has multiple bedrooms and is reached via a lengthy private driveway heavily guarded by security. The house overlooks hills and a river on one side and the city of Turin on the other, per Lifestyle Asia.

Dubai

Billionaire’s Island

There’s been a flurry of recent speculation over whether the star just bought a US$26.4 million mansion on Dubai’s Jumeirah Island, better known as “Billionaire’s Island”. However, as reported by British media, the purchase has been denied by the star’s reps.
